Hailing from Brownsville, Brooklyn, Hash Mills thrives in Los Angeles, seamlessly merging music, photography, visual art, and DJ performances. His website, www.hashmills.net, serves as a testament to his multifaceted creativity. As a pivotal member of the Rise & Shine group Rawkus Records, Mills collaborated with esteemed artists like DJ Premier, DJ Khalil, and notably, shaped a distinctive sound with production from Yessam, Oba & Levelz. Their second single featured the impactful B-side "Blazin," produced by Levelz with scratches by DJ Green Lantern. Rise & Shine's impact extended to notable personalities like Left Eye (RIP) and Denzel Washington. Following the group's disbandment, Mills embarked on a prolific solo career, collaborating globally with artists from Vancouver (Port Authority, Dirty Sample), Sweden (Mwuana, Dida, Ays N Beez & LeChef), Germany (Ben und Rome), Rotterdam (Ballantyne) NY (Roc Marciano) & beyond, significantly amplifying his influence. In addition to his musical endeavors, Hash Mills has established a prominent DJ presence with residencies across Los Angeles. His recent ventures include the release of "Hash Mills X Parakhan", "DJ Clue Freestyle," featuring Noxer Couture, & his forming of the supergroup BLK 70s alongside Orko Eloheim. Their single, "Berlin Olympics," is accompanied by a captivating music video directed by Brock Mills.
