After and during his graphic and artistic training, he studied music theory, trumpet and piano at the Antwerp Conservatory and several musical academies, later he attended the world-Bercley arranging course. Nevertheless, in the first place he is a true live performer and he plays bass guitar like no other. It is therefore not surprising that countless national and international producers, artists and orchestras appealed to him for concerts and recordings. He could also hear his work at countless television shows and recordings. André aka "the apple" is the founder and conductor of the now legendary "Mansana Salsa Band" and "Modern Swing Big Band". Likewise, André is quite a man as a vocalist. He's not a real singer, but his musicality, language skills and his warm baritone voice ensure proper interpretation of the song better. In many video and film productions as well as in promotional spots on sheets, in theater and on CD he composed the custom music in various styles. André played for nine years at almost all orchestras of the Belgian television and radio broadcaster BRT.
