Born in Neptune, NJ but raised in Newport News, VA, Roc Wynn began his solo rap career in 2009. Just 10 years after first picking up a pen. At first, Roc was solely a punchline rapper & spent a lot of time trying to become more than that. He wanted to become an artist He released his first mixtape titled 'Hip Hops Vital Sign' in 2009. The project was solely freestyles over industry & original beats produced by a friend but had very little substance or relatable content. Aside from handing out a few copies to a few locals in his hood, the project never made it outside of his friends & family. With little support, the same would happen to his next 2 projects 'Hip Hops Vital Sign Verse 2' & 'Audio Punishment' which didn't come out until 2012 & 2014 Both projects were more relatable & had more original music but still not good enough to reach a real audience. Roc Wynn began to realize that if he was going to get anywhere in the music industry, he would need to find his own sound, be seen more, release more relatable music & release more frequently That's exactly what he began to do. He started a soundcloud, started performing at local clubs & ultimately earned himself a spot on a local Virginia music fest in 2015 called Shaggfest. In 2017 he moved to Baltimore where he taught himself how to mix & produce music then would release his first album a year later called Concept: Day Dream. Since then Roc has moved to TX where he continues to release music & grow his fan base
