I'm a born and raised Memphis artist straight from the heart of the North "KLD". I started off freestyling but really didn't know what I was doing in the 4th grade. While in the 4th grade, I wrote my first rap about my teacher and almost got kicked out of school because of it. When I entered the 6th grade, we moved to South Memphis, Indian Hills (I-Hill). While in the 6th grade, my brother, some friends, and I were influenced by multiple local artists. We started recording ourselves over their mixtapes by putting the headphones in the microphone jack. I stopped rapping for a while until I entered college at JSU in 1998 and became re-motivated. So, I started back freestyling, and around 2006, I started recording tracks, reinventing myself, and that's when I came up with the name M.D.O.T.T. (Memphis.Dealing.Out.The.Trunk.) showing homage to all the Southern Artist who sold their music out of the trunks of their cars to gain hip-hop/Rap notoriety here in the South. From Three6Mafia, 8Ball&MJG, No Limit, OutKast, UGK, Ghetto Boys, to Cash Money Records. So I introduced myself with mixtapes such as Unmastered, Therapeutic Assessment, Heat Stroke, & The Grey Area. The latest mixtape was Feed Me Beats, but my first album is a must listen entitled 'My Perspective'.
