Keyona Lashawn is a contemporary R&B singer/songwriter from New Jersey. Influenced by her gospel roots from an early age, her vocal stylings are heavily inspired by musical icons Whitney Houston, Babyface and Beyoncé. Dedicated to creating a new sound that combines classic R&B with her original vocal abilities, she began honing her songwriting and recording skills as a young teen.  
 In 2018, Keyona took home first place at the Apollo Theater with a stunning performance of “I’d Rather Go Blind”. Her classic tone, emotional delivery and extensive vocal range caught the attention of R&B legend, Freddie Jackson. Their friendship quickly grew into a close mentorship and Keyona is currently signed with Climax Entertainment where she continues to be mentored alongside Mr. Jackson as his labelmate and debut artist.  
 In 2020, she released her debut single “Falling in Love” followed by additional singles “Forever”and “Secret”. Keyona is currently writing and recording her debut album, set to release in January 2022. Her music is available now to stream and download on Spotify, Apple Music and everywhere music is found.
