Walter Parks led the popular folk group The Nudes before serving 10 years as sideman to Woodstock legend Richie Havens and leader of the swamp blues outfit Swamp Cabbage. Walter has two solo cds, his self-debut "Walter Parks" and a live solo recording "Cathedral". Walter Parks and The Unlawful Assembly, a group modernizing traditional spirituals, worksongs, hymns and blues, released a new recording on Atomic Sound Record Company this year.
