As RHOME aims for the heart and lands at the soul, the unrelenting lyricist from the City of Angels reminds the world we’re here to build legacy. With his debut studio album ‘Hometown Hero’ (2024) the starving artist and his ‘homies’ welcome listeners to a nostalgic, revitalizing tour of RHOME’s foundation. As he decorates time through his 1of1 penmanship, dynamic storytelling and cinematic, genre blending approach to Hip Hop, the expectations continue to rise for the phenom. In 2019, the Los Angeles-native began his journey as a recording artist in the storied city of Chicago, often recognized as the number one city for a young musician to grow into their own. As the gritty, jazzy spirit of the Midwest harmonized with the smooth soul of the West Coast, an undeniable and equally as infectious sound was born. In the summer of 2021, RHOME was signed by 3FIVE Entertainment, an independent record label founded by Marvin Bagley III of the NBA’s Washington Wizards. In December of that same year, RHOME hit the scene with his debut single ‘Hillary Duff’ (2021) featuring the young legend, WESTSIDE BOOGIE. The single was featured on RHOME’s debut mixtape, ‘Uncle Macc’ (2022) where he collaborated with artists like Mick Jenkins, Kalan.FrFr and theMIND. After leaving audiences for over a calendar year with no new music, he returned to the game with his ‘Lil Homie - EP’ (2023), preparing his listeners to lock in with the story that was to follow—and here we are.
