Multi-instrumentalist and composer Daniel Zelonky (aka Low Res, Suite Crude Revue), has been producing and writing widely diverse music for 45 years, from seminal punk bands (Misfits, Bad Brains) in 1970’s NYC, to his own catalog of experimental electronic and nu-jazz music, 2022’s full orchestral treatment of Marvin Gaye’s “Trouble Man”, and most recently original vocal songs with Suite Crude Revue. Along the way he’s worked with luminaries such as George Clinton, Kurtis Blow, Ras Michael & The Sons of Negus, Dale Watson, Bernie Worrell, Ellis & Delfaeyo Marsalis, Thomas Fehlman, Juan Atkins, etc. Zelonky studied jazz and electronic music at Wisconsin Conservatory as a teenager, composition at SUNY with John Cage and Morton Feldman, audio engineering at NYC’s Institute of Audio Research and Japanese at Foothill and Reitaku Universities.
