Gordon McLeod's music has been described as "eclectic deep roots" . Drawing from many traditions, it is a rich amalgam of elements including Django-jazz and swing, original songs and cop positions , Irish traditional music, folk songs and classical elements. As a performer, in bands like McLeod Nine , Beyond The Pale and The Aisling String Trio, and as a solo performer Gordon is a fixture of the Texas music community. 
 "Still Fiddlin' " Gordon’s new album is a collection of 13 original tracks, most of which are traditional Irish fiddling at its finest: lively, lyrical and intricate. But there is a fair helping of Bluegrass, and Django jazz flavored tunes as well. 
 Performing as McLeod Nine, a duo with his wife Christy McLeod, Gordon and Christy write and perform original eclectic roots music which has been very well received on their recent national tours. McLeod Nine have been featured performers at festivals and venues in their Texas stomping grounds as well as across the country. 
 Gordon's solo album, Dog Year , features original songs in many genres . 
 As his alter-ego, Daddy G, Gordon swings on violin and guitar. In 2014 Gordon released Daddy G and His Amazing Swingtet, a full length album of Gordon's original jazz and swing compositions and songs along with some great standards, all with a gypsy flair in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stepahne Grappelli. 
 In 2015 Gordon released a full length album of traditional Irish fiddle music, Just Fiddlin'
