My name is Bello Abdulhaqi, I go by the stage name HAQI. I’m an indie artiste. It's a really tasking process when an upcoming act in the nigerian music industry is finding his sound , but with the help of my expert producer and a few moments of self reflection I found it and I will never lose it. I Started sampling different genres of music since highschool, that alone made me realise having a sound that fits into several genres is a huge musical bonus. When you think of acts like Burna Boy, K.S.A, The great Fela Anikulapo, You identify their production irrespective of what genre they dabble into why? Because we've become very familiar with their sound and how they can be creative with it.The first record Jameson and Marley was inspired from a very special place and I'm so glad it's out there in the world for people to listen to, Feel something, and Pass it on.
