Mixing Trap and Electronic sounds, American producer and DJ, EyeOnEyez, is being praised for bringing a new sound to the genre known for triple-time hi-hats and deep 808s. Although a relative newcomer to the trap scene, EyeOnEyez has worked with a slew of the decade’s biggest stars including everyone from rap’s elite like Rick Ross, Gucci Mane and T.I. to independent rappers like Mac Boney. His earliest work has led to relationships with Raekwon, Future, and Ghostface Killah. This year his underground hit “Polar Bear” feat. Gucci Mane, has been placed on several “Best Songs of 2018” lists. EyeOnEyez is best known for being the last producer to work with late hip-hop legend, Prodigy of Mobb Deep.
