Drumskull operates at the intersection of the aggressive sonics of modern jungle, footwork, breaks and the more soulful atmospheres of deep house, UKG and broken beat. A versatile and seasoned DJ and recording artist based in London, he released his highly regarded, multi-genre, debut album ‘Interlocked’ in 2020 on the Seagrave label. The hard edged ‘Negative 7’ single was issued in 2021 to wide acclaim soon after, packaged with remixes from fellow beatsmiths Etch, Coco Bryce and Benny Ill. In 2023 Drumskull’s ‘Muscle Memory EP’ was unleashed by Sherelle and Naina’s Hooversound Recordings which included remixes from Lone and LMajor, and he has recently established his own eponymous music imprint with a forthcoming collaborative release with Club Glow co-founder Mani Festo. Garnering support from his peers across the electronic dance music fraternity, radio play on BBC Radio and Rinse FM, glowing reviews from DJ Magazine and a feature in ’Bandcamp Best Electronic Music’, Drumskull was also recently named as one to watch on Beatportal’s ‘On Our Radar’. Drumskull continues his quest for sonic experimentation in the studio and when playing out in the clubs and festivals, he brings a battery of timeless classics fused with the most bleeding edge soundsystem music.
