Who is André Martins? Artist, composer, performer, researcher, guitar teacher. Graduated in guitar from Los Angeles College of Music (LACM), California, he was personal assistant to the legendary Frank Gambale for one year and worked with bands, singers and studios in Hollywood and Greater LA. Back in Brazil, he was editor of Cover Guitarra, sideman of Fafá de Belém, composer of music for advertising and music for documentaries. He holds a PhD in Music from USP, specializing in Music Improvisation and new digital technologies.
