Not confining himself to a specific genre, DJ and Producer Alex Tomb easily lets the sound move through various emotions and crafts a musical dialogue across different styles. His DJ sets range from deep and introspective to exhilarating and joyful. Starting a residency at Klubd in Nicosia at the age of 23 already, Alex affected the electronic scene in Cyprus. Since 2013, he has been a resident at the renowned Berlin underground daytime party, STAUB—a space recognized for its sense of community and diverse electronic music offerings. Alex’s career features performances at iconic venues such as Tresor, Gare Porto and Kantine am Berghain. Capparis Spinosa is the imprint founded by him in 2017 to present his music, including exclusive collaborations and remixes. His releases on Claudio PRC’s label “12” and the consistently dancefloor-appropriate release on Maeve exemplify the artist’s commitment to expression over confinement. The Paludose Canter EP showcases his profound and emotive dancefloor expressions travelling across various moods. Despite Alex Tomb’s established presence in the European electronic scene, he remains far from finished.
