Akila Vishwanaath Hegoda, better known by his stage name as Aki Vish, is a multi-talented artiste, born and raised in the Kingdom of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Starting his musical journey joining with the band "VERONZ", On 2010 he released his first song "U.Pe_The AL Exam Song" which was a huge hit among the teenagers of the country reaching more than 1 million views on youtube within a short period of time. Gathering much needed knowledge on music theory by self studies, & successfully completing the "Diploma In Sound Management & Public Address System" conducted by The Sri Lankan Broadcasting Coorperation and "Diploma In Mixing & Mastering" conducted by "Ranga Dassanayake @ Hit Factory, he started his career as a professional producer,audio engineer at his own recording studio "REWIND StudioZ" giving numerous opportunities to many talented artistes such as D-Sir,Wale,Tnyn,Lil Mac,Young Hustler to shine in the Sri Lankan Music Field. Blessed with a euphonious vocal tone, he has contributed to more than 500 songs with his melodious voice. The chorus of "Kaalakanni Puthek", Naari, Kaasiye Saapaya, Oya Langin and The R&B remake of Tum Hi Ho, are a few of his sensational work that got huge attention from the fans apart from the U.Pe. Since 2009, he has produced/co-produced more than 700 songs and has done more than 1000 post productions. And he was able to get the recognition as one of the fastest rappers in Sri Lanka with the release of his 4th hip hop/rap track "Kaasiye Saapaya".
