”Talent exceptionnel” according to Radio France, composer Gianluca Verlingieri (Cuneo, Italy, *1976) has gained international recognition for performances of his music and projects held in prestigious venues worldwide, such as INA-GRM in Paris, Italian Academy at Columbia University in New York, Renzo Piano’s Parco della Musica in Rome, Florence’s new Opera House at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Festival International d’Art Lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence, Staatsoper Berlin, Thomaskirche Leipzig, Geneva’s Cathedral, ARD German Radio Days at ZKM Karlsruhe and many other stages in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, England, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, San Marino, Scotland, Slovenia, Sweden, Portugal, Greece, Mexico, USA, Brazil, New Zealand and Australia. Widely awarded in Europe and North America, Verlingieri’s music is regularly performed by internationally established soloists and ensembles, as well as by young emerging artists. His compositions and music collaborations have been broadcasted in several countries and released on CD by labels like the German NEOS Music, the Italians EMA Records and Limen Music, the the Japanese Da Vinci Classics, the Dutch Esc.Rec., the American Tzadik Records and the Swedish BIS Records, among the others. He has been invited to give masterclass and lectures about his music in prestigious international institutions, including, among the others, the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest and the China Conservatory in Beijing.
