Ali Roots started to be appriciated for honesty of expression and lyrical vision, she has delivered her first ep in 2012 when she also started her own musical label "CasaRoots Music Ital-y" with Gabriele Porciani aka Groovy a very talented guitar player coming from the Italian Rock Scene who is currently composing most of the instrumentals for Ali Roots & The Branches her Live Band still on the making. At the moment she's still working in the United Kingdom with the legendary Anthony Codrington aka Top Cat who has produced and directed her debut album "Starting at the Roots" for the NineLives Recordings London. In October 2014 Ali Roots has performed for the very first time abroad and alongside The Artist Band on the stage of the Hootananny Brixton, London, the most popular venue of Reggae and Roots and Culture Music in UK for the courtesy of the top Reggae promoter Cecil Reuben Events. She is also working on a new EP, directed by DJ Top Cat and the NineLives Recording London again. Ali Roots is currently collaborating and releasing tunes for many international dub and roots producers. From the early 2018 Ali Roots is mainly working with her growing band "The Branches", with the unique and original touch of Groovy at the guitars. Ali Roots is continually spreading the vegan artivism thru her music and thru her cruelty free, antispeciesist and compassionate lifestyle.
