And from behind the red curtain of space and time- we present to you- Magic Ian! A cosmic concoction of colour and sound, brewed with a dash of delirium, a sprinkle of psychedelia, and a sprig of lavender, Ian's potion is poised for the mystical palette. Jaxon Pollard, Christian Familar, Harry Firth and Aran Dennis formed the band in the early hours of 2019- as the moonlight turned to the sun. Magic Ian delved deep into it's origins, releasing their debut EP 'The Pledge' in March 2019, and now as the year faces it's full revolution, so too do the group, announcing the coming of their second EP 'The Turn' May 1st, 2020. Their music is a window into the universe, manifesting through a whimsical stirring of psych rock, pop, blues, jazz and folk influences. Written by rhythm guitarist and singer Jaxon Pollard and then crafted further by the band, the songs serve as your own personal portal into the being that is Magic Ian. It is now with the additions of Jack Titterington on synth and Claire Waddell-Wood on drums that Magic Ian takes it's next steps into the light. With even more projects prophesied this year and beyond, it is certainly true that in these uncertain times, Magic Ian's timeless journey is just beginning.
