Housefeller was born from the meeting between Italian DJ producers Davide Riva aka Rivaz and Nicola “NS” Schenetti together with the US vocalist Cheryl Porter aka Christine Moore. Their first single “Mama” was successfully released under the hit label d:vision (Energy Production) in 2006. Following the rise of the gospel house phenomenon, the uplifting second single "Live Your Life” was released immediately in 2007. Cheryl Porter - also lovingly known as “Mama Cheryl” - is a renowned singer in her own right. She is the voice of “The Circle of Life” in The Lion King Live Action Movie, has performed at the Vatican for The Pope, Luciano Pavarotti, and shared the stage with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Mariah Carey, Bono of U2, and has recorded over 20 albums from classical to contemporary music. Rivaz is part of Italian dance tradition evolving through the last three decades. He made music experiencing all the production phases, with the ability to read the crowd and choose the right mood. Official opening for Benny Benassi, as well as the opening for Axwell & Ingrosso at Project X 2016, Rivaz played with top dj’s such as Carnage, Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Nervo, Martin Garrix, Merk & Kremont, Daddy’s Groove, and more. DJ and dance music producer since 2006, Nicola Schenetti has been involved in several music projects. He put himself to the test and began to play in the best club all over the world, a stage now become a habit.
