Singer/Song writer Sheldon S. Townsend affectionately called Clatta Bumboo, was born in the parish of Westmoreland Jamaica in 1977, and raise in the humble community of Moreland Hill in the same parish. In 2010 Clatta Bumboo migrated to the United States Of America where he now lives in the city of Providence RI. Since 2019 Clatta Bumboo has release reggae singles produced in conjunction with Rhode Island producers and has developed a decent following among local reggae fans. Clatta is the founder and lead singer of the reggae unit Clatta Bumboo and Roots Government band which was nominated for best reggae act by Motif Magazine for 2018 - 2019. Releases from the artist include She's A Rebel, Baseline and We Are Chosen produced by Ray Gennari of Rocktorium Records and Heartache, Heartache in dub and Mother's Prayer in 2020 produced by Jorge "Djim" Job.
