Patrick Nyakahuma (pronounced Fm Kid) is one of Uganda’s most exciting and original young artist, but he’s far from new to the scene. Fm Kid is focused on promoting the movement currently shaping alternative music in Uganda to advance the culture by taking it beyond the horizon. His popularity quickly gained the attention of HerbertSkills "Sound Makers Studio" who reached out for a studio session and later recorded his first single. His career kicked off around 2019 when he met Producer HerbertSkills (Sound makers Studio) in Kampala. HerbertSkills introduced him to the industry, producing his first banger "Crash A Man" which quickly gained popularity among his peers. His love for music and the support from his fan based got more people to recognize his talent prompting Jadda who is Producer Hebert Skillz’s girlfriend to brand him as "Fm Kid". He has also worked with Producer Zuli Tums on his hit song "Mbasilisamu" and Producer Erosi on "Sexy" Fm Kid has also attracted the attention of industry players who helped push his music around the world. People like Deejay Bluemoon Based in The United Kingdom has done great work to see Fm Kid grow a larger fan base world wide. In December 7th 2020 Fm Kid started working with Bluebox Radio Active Ltd, A record label based in The United Kingdom which intern takes over his management.
