Mark Kloud (Mark Valkwitch) is notably known for his abstract and experimental approach in uptempo electronic music. With over 20 years experience as a DJ and over 10 years as a producer, he has carved his name into the underground Drum and Bass/Jungle scene. Mark's dark atmospheres, intricate sound design coupled with precision drum programming and murky bass has made him a unique contributor to the 160-170 BPM community. Heavily influenced by Footwork and Juke, Mark gained notoriety in that genre fusing that sound with 90's Jungle. This led Mark to start his own imprint Ground Mass Music. Most recently Mark has developed a particular sound revolving around minimal, deep and ethereal pulling inspiration from Dub and Techno. Over the years with releases on labels such as Lossless Music, Translation Recordings, Nord Label, Onset Audio, Sublimate and Terra Null Recordings he has gained support from the likes of J:Kenzo, Om Unit, Doc Scott, Deft, Soul Intent and Silent Dust.
