Jamie Lee Wilsons incredibly versatile voice is just as at home on her latest, stripped down, emotive releases as belting out a dance anthem. Born & raised on Australia’s Gold Coast she started singing at 7. By the time she graduated high school she didn't even have time to attend her prom as she had a performance on the same night. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice at the Conservatorium of Music, all the while honing her song-writing craft. She spread her wings to London where a friend introduced her to the dance scene. Fuel to the Fire with Dutch producer Jesse Voorn featured on Dave Audé’s radio show & a month later she was in the studio with Dave in LA recording what would become their US Billboard Club Chart #2 smash, “Back 2 Love”. Having worked on high tempo tracks with dance legends such as Grammy nominated Todd “The God” Terry, Grammy nominated Stonebridge & Grammy winner Dave Audé, Jamie Lee Wilson decided to start a new down-tempo project under the moniker, JVMIE. Her cover of Massive Attack’s “Teardrop” brought the world famous Buzz Charts to tears. She has performed at festivals in the USA, the UK & Australia & opened for the likes of Steve Aoki in Japan, Kelly Rowland in Australia & Kaskade in Amsterdam. "I heard you singing on stage, absolutely singing your heart out & I was like, she’s got a f***ing great voice! The whole crowd was into you, I was really impressed, you really stole the show!” Markus Schulz – GrooveCruise Miami 2016
