Crazy Zal (born October 15, 2000) is a rapper and music producer. He is also the deejay (DJ). Crazy Zal started his musical career at the age of 17 when he was still studying at high school, by first trying to rap using musical beats he found on the internet. Previously, Crazy Zal was familiar with rap music from the music accompanying B-Boys in action, such as Rakim, LL Cool J, and Run DMC. From there Crazy Zal continued to develop his knowledge of Hip-Hop music, until he discovered rap sub-genres such as Gangsta Rap, G -Funk, Boom Bap, etc. His love of rap led him to great rappers such as 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, to groups such as N.W.A, Cypress Hill, and Wu-Tang Clan. In 2020, Crazy Zal was recruited to strengthen the most influential rap group in South Kalimantan, namely WASAKA. As he worked with this group, Crazy Zal continued to release solo singles and collaborations with musicians. Of the many singles that have been released, Crazy Zal finally made his first album entitled "Rest" on February 13, 2024, an album containing 10 songs with a strong West Coast rapper feel. No wonder from the references he heard some of the names of the great rappers above. Until now, Crazy Zal continues to be productive in his work.
