They were formed around 2010 in Stockholm with a desire to create music to match their musical heroes such as Prince, Cameo, Parliament/Funkadelic. Sexy, soulful, funky energetic music that's lacking in todays mainstream radio. The Neon Romeoz released their debutalbum ”The Neon Phenomenon” in 2012. Several singles were released from this album and the songs were picked up by American RnB radio as well as other stations across the world. This led to a collaboration with Prince's old band The Family (fDeluxe) and the hit song "Sanctified" from their album Relit.
