Ricky Mendez has spent most of his time locked in his room well before the pandemic hit. What started as a fun hobby during his freshman year in college, has still remained a hobby but also grown into a coping mechanism and distraction from the struggles and monotony of the real world. Self conscious about his music, he has been hesitant to show off the songs he has created throughout the years until very recently.
