DERRICK JONES aka SPARKZ THA TRAKMAN is a Cincinnati, Oh producer who started his career working along side multi-platinum producer HI TEK. The experience broadened his scope of what’s possible in the music production industry. After studying under Hi Tek, Spark tha Trakman motivated his self to become a force in the Hip-Hop arena. He sharpened his skills in the studio, and landed solid industry placements. Sparkz is the producer behind the collaborative effort from SHAWTY LO featuring CA$HOUT & YOUNG SCOOTER “NEW MONEY”. Other singles he produced include ICE CUBE'S "ON THEM PILLS", GORILLA ZOE'S “TALK BACK”, CASSIDY FEAT EVE AND BONE THUGS “CASH RULEZ” and MANY other artists such as BANKROLL FRESH, YOUNG DRO, J KWON and MONEYBAGG YO. Also he has landed production on VH1'S BASKETBALL WIVES OF LA , BLACK INK CREW as well as 23 other MTV/VH1 reality TV shows. Sparkz Tha Trakman produced songs that appear on ‘Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’ star RASHEEDA'S album ‘CERTIFIED HOT CHICK’, including “WHERE YA BEEN”, “RIDIN FLY”, “TAKE IT SLOW”, and “THANG FOR YOU” ft KANDI BURRESS of XSCAPE/ REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATL He worked with actress/ pop singer CIARA WILSON (TYLER PERRY'S MEET THE BROWNS), and has produced music for the likes of A1/ FREE BANDZ artist CASINO and Philly artist FREEWAY.
