From a young age, Xavier Reyes (better known as X the Artist) had a keen interest in the arts. This New Jersey native spent years honing his skills as a rapper, singer and songwriter, releasing three mixtapes that showcased his raw talent, vocal acuity, and attention to detail. After furthering his education at the University of Pittsburgh, he signed with Pittsburgh Records in 2018, then dropped his debut album on Valentine's Day in 2020, appropriately titled The Love Gallery. 
 Taking notes from a diversity of powerful voices that have defined generations - ranging from latin, to punk, to gospel, and the classics of hip-hop and pop - he has adapted these influences to create his own distinct sound. His experience in musical theater has proven effective in shaping his control of melody and narrative, as well as his balanced approach to production. Drawing major inspiration from the works of Jon Bellion, Drake, and Chance the Rapper, his voice explores similar regions of subtlety and intensity. This background, including his extensive vocal training and piano training, and his studies in music engineering, complete the vision of his overall style. ~ Quade
