Winner of the 2021 Vienna International Music Competition and 2015 Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Competition Joao Carlos Victor has been highlighted in the international music scene being invited to play at renowned festivals, concert series, radio and television in Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Spain, Brazil, Liechtenstein and Germany. He has a wide musical education that includes academic research and music performance training. Joao holds Master Diploms in Musicology, Musical Performance and Solist at world-renowned Universities like: Universität Bern (Switzerland), Musikhochschule Basel (Switzerland), Musikhochschule Luzern (Switzerland) and Musikhochschule Nürnberg (Germany). Living in Switzerland Joao split his activities between concerts and teaching. He is Professor of Guitar at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium.
