Lávre is a young indigenous artist and musician from the Sámi village of Guovdageaidnu on the Norwegian side of Sápmi. His music is strongly grounded in the Sámi vocal tradition of joik while at the same time wandering through dreamy, ambient and modern soundscapes. Endlessly inspired by an internal unrest and the strange mosaic of life, Lávre's unique musical expression explores new impulses in the world of Sámi music and reveals the thoughts and intuitions of an inquiring young man.
