USA native Joel Holmes Pianist, Producer, Composer Over the years, Joel has received numerous honors including four Grammy Nominations, and honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, and an honorable mention in the VH1 Song of the Year Awards. Joel has toured the world with Grammy winning jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove, vocalist Nnenna Freelon, Saxophonist Javon Jackson and many others. Joel was also a member of Carl Craig’s Synthesizer Ensemble for several years. Now he leads several bands including The Joel Holmes Expansion band which blends House Music, Jazz, and Soul.
