As IntraVenus, Cory Forthuber typically covers various thematic topics in his music, including personal struggles, societal issues, political commentary and self-expression. Through his music, he talks about topics like mental health, depression, anxiety, social media addiction, racism, police brutality, and the general state of the world. He also often incorporates wordplay, storytelling, and poetic imagery in his lyrics. IntraVenus grew up in Lutz, FL. Originally influenced by the rock music of the 90's and then heavily influenced by hip hop when he moved to Ward, CO at the age of 15. Heavy influences include Atmosphere, Linkin Park, Tech N9ne, Doomtree, KoRn and more. After writing and producing his first hip hop tracks, IntraVenus went on to perform his first official live gig at Cervantes Ballroom in Denver Colorado during the Summer of 2007.
