Spec (formerly Aspect One) is a recording artist, producer, event host and organizer based out of Los Angeles California. He was born and raised in New York until 3rd grade and moved to California as a child. He was a signed artist in his high school days, who was a heavy battle rap emcee which took the lead early on in his music life. He as well as Dibiase and a few other friends created a crew called Missing Page Crew, which garnered a lot local and relative success on the West Coast between 2001 and 2006. They opened up for MF Doom, Freestyle Fellowship, J Zone, Ill Bill, Wu-Tang, Copywrite, Vast Aire, and more. He is a part of the Project Blowed collective which is the home of artists like Dumbfoundead, Open Mike Eagle, Saht, NoCanDo and Freestyle Fellowship. He has produced for artists such as Skyzoo, Elzhi, Guilty Simpson, Vast Aire, Ill Camille and others. He is also a battle rap staple as a founder, organizer, and host who has worked as the President of the West Coast of King Of The Dot and brought the URL battle rap league to Los Angeles. He is currently the owner and founder of Lit Life Studios, based out of Los Angeles, California. His motto is “stay litty”.
