Born in France and of Senegalese origin, singer-songwriter Anaïs Sylla makes her life trajectory - itinerant and plural - the essence to create her musical identity, which is influenced by French and Brazilian music and her research on the Afro diaspora . After inheriting the records her grandmother and mother listened to (Sade, Oumou Sangaré, Ali Farka Touré, Stevie Wonder...) and delving into studies on the history of slavery in Brazil, Anaïs began her work of historical research on miscegenation and the gradual emancipation from slavery. The discovery of the black Atlantic took hold of his thoughts and inspirations, becoming part of his creative process.
