The Pork MC, a young artist currently based in Newcastle NSW, creates individualized Hip Hop music combining genres to create unique blends of Hip Hop and Reggae. Pork MC’s music often reflects Australian Aboriginal Culture and Self-Determination as he is a proud Koori man who whole-heartedly represents his Wiradjuri heritage. Pork MC having only performed at a number of house parties and talent quests, Pork MC was honoured to finally have the opportunity to open for an internationally recognised artist. In 2021 Pork MC with his close accomplice, Broome local Big P had the opportunity to open for DJ Noiz, Raggadat Cris and Kennyon Brown on their Australian national tour. In the 14,000 strong town of Broome with a close to 30% Aboriginal population. The show attracted over 1000 people with a majority Aboriginal crowd which had people traveling 100s of kilometres from remote communities to attend the highly anticipated show. Pork MC has been recognised as a significant artist from the Aboriginal Community, however has also gained international attention overseas. Having already collaborated in international collaborations, Pork MC has been recognised by US Hip Hop icons Havoc & Prodeje, Wu-Tang Clan and Freddie Foxxx. Pork MC has also appeared in a number of radio interviews and has had a chance to tell his story and share his experiences.
