Biography

With the release of his debut album ‘The Island’ on September 20th 2024, this ambitious body of work highlights a lot of pivotal events in St. Lundi’s life to date. 'Following My Heart’ sets an almost autobiographical theme, highlighting the moment that he left his hometown of Hayling Island on the UK’s South Coast with under £100 in his bank account to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist. He moved to London with no fixed abode and threw everything he had into following his dreams. Like many of these leap of faith decisions that he’s made, it ended up paying off - his first big break came by writing the song ‘To Die For’, which featured on Kygo’s Billboard Gold Certified album ‘Golden Hour’. In late 2021, he released his biggest streaming song to date titled ‘Nights Like This’, which was about his first date with his partner and falling in love at first sight. St. Lundi performed his first sold out performance at Hamburg’s international showcase festival Reeperbahn Festival. This was followed by support tours with Kodaline, Tom Gregory, ClockClock, The Great Escape, Baloise Sessions, Victorious Festival and others. Around this time, St. Lundi started releasing songs that will go on to feature on his debut LP. ‘Ready To Be Loved’ was the first song presented to BBC Radio 2 and was instantly welcomed with a B-list rotation. In June he supported Take That on their Ireland arena shows, playing to 60,000 people across three nights.
