Born Michael Donlee Climer in Hayward, California, Mike Climer's quest in music started with a rough up and coming, moving house to house with a single mom and eventually abandoned on the streets with no family, Mike Climer was put into foster care at the age of 15. Mike Launched his career at the age of 20 in a group known as 2 Shades Deep. The group parted ways and Mike decided to put the mic down and focus on a work career. After meeting his father, Mike was given the opportunity to live in Hawaii. At 23 Mike decided to take that opportunity, but found himself lost while family from his past continued to haunt him. Mike eventually met his other half Natasha Crace at the age of 29 who helped him find himself again. After having his first child and learning to build a family of his own, Mike found peace in himself and decided to pick the mic back up. At 32 years old releasing his first single "Drop It Low" it achieved twelve thousand streams on Soundcloud. Mike continued releasing singles however felt himself and his sound was evolving, thus changing his name to MIKE CLYM3R, an alter-ego with the 3 representing the different sides of himself; "The Italian Libra" for the ladies, "The God Father" the experienced side of Mike and "The Don" a rebellious party animal reliving the past. Mike started showing these alter egos with his first studio album "Dreams to Reality" a quest of being asleep his whole life and waking up to a game needing change.
