Biography

A sparkling and eclectic compilation of dance/pop tracks, “Pause to Remember” is an album which marks the coming of age of Dublin dance collective, Camden Place. A bumper 20 tracks, some of which have been released on single over the past twelve months, provide a compelling introduction to this striking dance/pop project. Camden Place is an exciting music initiative that combines the rich lyrical and compositional talents of prolific Irish songwriter, Seán Silke, and the production, arranging, and musical skills of Beardfire Studio, to deliver a unique and potent sound, full of energy, melody, and mood. Working with top vocalists and producers, Camden Place have begun making their mark on the dance/pop music scene, covering genres such as dance pop, ambient house, electronica, EDM, hip hop and RnB. Camden Place's recent single, “Ships”, was honoured with a place on the RTE Radio One Recommends playlist. The Beardfire Studio producers are David Virgin, Rohan Healy and Al Quiff, who have, in their collective six decades of musical experience, worked on stage or in studio with the likes of Nick Cave, INXS, Leslie Dowdall (In Tua Nua), Mary Black, The Cruel Sea, RUNAH, Patricia Lalor, Cat Power, Billy Bragg and Lloyd Cole. Seán Silke is a prolific composer and musician with over 500 original songs in his back catalogue.
