Stefandré is the alias of Norwegian composer and songwriter Stefan André Willassen Hanssen. With streaming numbers in the hundreds of thousands and listeners around the world, he is an exciting voice in the Electronic music scene. Born and raised in the small town of Straume, the 27-year-old's early music education came from his family, as his uncle exposed him to Rock music and taught him how to play guitar at a moderate level, but it wasn't until he discovered the booming international EDM scene in his teens that he felt a true calling. A passing interest in Dubstep quickly turned into an obsession, as he set out to learn everything he could about the genre and how to use the technology to bring out the sounds in his mind. Stefan uploaded his first tracks to SoundCloud in 2012. The tracks were liked among a small circle of listeners in Scandinavia and led to his first festival appearance in his hometown alongside fellow Norwegian artist Autolaser. It was a major success for an artist who was still a minor at the time and gave him enough encouragement to study Music Production and Songwriting in Sandefjord upon turning 18. Now that he has established himself and found his voice, he is exploring new avenues of sound while being as committed as ever to expressing himself through his music.
