Brainfood is a collaboration of instrumentalists and producers that perform "Alternative Dance Music" covers, remixes, and original music. Originally from Ramsey, NJ, Brainfood has evolved into one of the most innovative live acts in the tri-state area. Not afraid to cross elements of rock, EDM, hip-hop and R&B, Brainfood has developed a genre all its own. Lead singer and front person Zaynah (Christina Betrus) commands the stage with her blues and soul inspired vocals, and adds electronic drums to complete her vibrant persona. DnA (Dan Adamz) delivers the Brainfood vibe by creatively mixing various elements of different genres together using his unique DJ set up, and also plays acoustic guitar, bass, and synthesizers. Beyondus (Kevin Sroczynski) adds guitar and synthesizers improvisation to always deliver a one of a kind live experience. Complete with lighting and visual display, Brainfood surpasses the standard boundaries of today's genres. From their experiences producing a wide range of shows, from nightclubs in NYC, to dive bars in Jersey City, to NJ country clubs, Brainfood always knows how to provide a musical and visual experience people won't soon forget.
