Born in Brooklyn, raised in Long Island, ADUM⁷ (formerly known as RAVAGE/MeccaGodZilla) is a music producer, MC, and visual artist. Working alongside Omowale Adewale, m1 of dead prez and Immortal Technique, ADUM⁷ got his start in NYC’s Hip-Hop scene as a founding member of the nonprofit Hip-Hop union G.A.ME (the Grassroots Artists MovEment) which made free-health care, free dental, and more available to independent Hip-Hop artists from New York and Philadelphia. ADUM⁷’s first music production placement was on Rodan’s “Theophany: The Book of Elevations” album (featured on allhiphop.com). Described by The Japan Times to have "...a style that brings to mind the likes of RZA and MF Doom,” ADUM⁷ featured in Black Enterprise for successfully funding his solo album under the moniker RYU BLACK. Musically he's worked with NIKE, Capcom, Warner Japan, and Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill) while moonlighting to model and secure sponsorship opportunities in Tokyo, Japan. Formerly known as MeccaGodZilla (via MF DOOM’s Monsta Island Czars), ADUM⁷ went on to receive 1 Million+ downloads on the Mininova for “American Monsta: the Jay-Z American Gangster Remix album.” In 2012, the success of his efforts led to a collaboration on Capcom’s 25th anniversary box set of the game Street Fighter II. In 2018, ADUM⁷ became an official Hip-Hop ambassador of the USA via the Next Level USA/U.S. Department of State program. ADUM⁷ is the acronym for "A Dream Universally Manifested⁷" to the power of “7 (God).”
