DJ Fisherman, born Sifiso Mjoli in Kwa-Ndengezi Township near Durban, is a pioneer in South African house music. Inspired by legends like Frankie Knuckles and Julien Jabre, he started spinning decks in 2002 before diving into production and creating hits like Mhlabe and Uyoysholo Wena with Big Nuz. From crafting the platinum banger Umlilo to dropping his iconic debut album Fish Tank in 2010, DJ Fisherman’s sound has shaped the scene.
