Trophy Boyfriend is Leixlip based musician Gregor Ruigrok. His debut EP was released in December 2009. Following this, the Distant Chimes EP was released in May 2010 and is available from BandCamp. Commissioned to do official remixes for The Cast Of Cheers and Maximo Park, a collection of his remixes is available from his Bandcamp page and includes remixes for The Casanova Wave, And So I Watch You from Afar, The Cast Of Cheers, Jedward, Maximo Park and Le Galaxie (2013). His tracks 'Faded Plastic Spade' , 'Distant Chimes' and 'Like You Were Frozen' were used in the Netflix series, 'Flaked' and the Hulu series, 'T@gged' . (2016) Lost & Fond, the latest EP from Trophy Boyfriend, is a laid back study of the unhealthy nostalgia for the recent past and a love letter to a silent city. Hopefully, we'll all meet again soon on a crowded dancefloor where we'll all move into the future and not pine for the past. And the BPMs will be a little faster.
