SAMAKO is a producer based in Sweden and Finland. The sound of SAMAKO is drawn from his background in electronic music as a DJ, some years ago he started making his own tracks and is now releasing them under the label Samakomusic. In his early years in the 90s Samako was influenced by bands and artists like DAF, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Ken Laszlo, Digital emotion and others. Today Samako is influenced by artists like Felix Da Housecat, Amelie Lens, Joyhauser, Avis Vox, Bart Skils and others. He considers some of his best achievements in electronic music was when he, during an artist residency in Barcelona in 2011 played at various clubs and bars, after that he was hooked. Samako works primarily in Ableton. He is delighted by heavy drums, thick bass, seducing synths and voices echoing in the distance. Samako has an educational and practical background in visual arts.
