Hi all, I'm a trumpeter, composer, improviser, and educator in Ann Arbor, MI. At the University of Michigan, I teach courses in creative improvisation, composition, music theory, and technology. My latest album release is Tonics: 7 Melodies for Trumpet with Bamboo Mouthpipe (2025 Infrequent Seams). For decades, I've been electrifying the trumpet via pedals, plugins, and MIDI, as heard on Cybersonic Outreach (New Focus/Panoramic, 2021).
