A South African born electronic artist refines himself with unique artistry without being too grandiloquent. VIK’s eclectic approach allows himself to freely shift his sound between the octaves of electronic music yet still retaining his compelling emotive signature sound. As VIK tends to steer clear of mainstream trends, he still preserves the importance of delivering an authentic message with the urge to explore his instinct. VIK made his 2019 debut on Polish-based Exotic Refreshment. Within two weeks the EP charted on Beatport’s top 100 Electronica/Downtempo. An enthusiastic 5 piece EP followed soon after on local giant Suid Tronica Records. In addition, VIK created his imprint ‘in:Between Oktaaf’, a mix series aimed to pursue his musical quest for tones of the underground sound.
