Skorpioh The Stinging Voice perfectly defines him as a person and an artist. He may be small in stature, but God has blessed him with a wide range of vocal expressions propelling him to limitless heights. A musical perspective dwells from the core of his inner being, which orchestrates his very existence, and without music, he cease to exist. November 18th 1986 Oraine Bowers made his entry on earth. As a youngster, crying was one way of expressing himself which enhanced his vocals. With music already embedded, his mother Ms. Lorna Arnold helped to amplify his talent as she too posses wonderful melodies. With influences by the works of Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Freddie McGregor, Tony Rebel, Richie Spice and Richie Stephens just to mention a few iconic mentors. Over the past decade he has shown versatility by venturing into different genre, effectively roots reggae is his signature sound, he feels this genre provides hope, positivity and upliftment to the masses and maintains peace and contentment within. Skorpioh has worked with many elite producers. In 2016 Heart of a Lion Records recognized his talent and requested him to record on a few beats, thus creating the EP “From the Core”. “Jamaican is my color” being the song that would define and introduce Skorpioh to the world. “The Stinging Voice” encourages “Perseverance”, “Don’t Stress Your Mind” and no matter how hard the struggle “Still A Smile”.
