Born and grown up in Switzerland , Cubex discovered his interest in electronic music early and started DJ’ing at the age of 17. Only a short time later his interest became more intense and transformed into passion for Drum&Bass and Techno. In the following years Cubex gained experience playing at local and national events. In parallel, he promoted his own event series and cofounded the Drum&Bass label “Perkussiv Music”. At the age of 30 the urge to make the next step got the upper hand. As a consequence, Cubex took a leave as a promoter and started producing in 2010. The style of Cubex stands for creative and daring beat combinations reflecting his musical roots and his personality. He combines rhythmic and driving House and Techno beats with hypnotic, psychedelic and dark atmospheres from the realms of Psytrance and Drum&Bass. Cubex’s productions are unmistakably his own and timeless. He himself describes his music as "deep and twisted Psy-Techno". To date, Cubex has produced over 200 tracks and released them on more than 30 labels around the globe, such as Zenon Records, miniMahlzeit, Copycow, Lethal Dose and many others. With the rising number of releases he has gained international attention and, as a matter of course, is booked more and more for gigs and festivals worldwide.
