Born in 1976, Raphaël Gros, alias Ripperton, is one of the most innovative electronic music producers of his generation in French-speaking Switzerland. His influences range from garage music to techno, and are part of the house culture tradition. His professional career as a DJ began in 1996 and has taken him to some of the most famous clubs in Switzerland and around the world, from Zukunft in Zurich to Berghain in Berlin. Alongside the release of five influential solo albums, he has collaborated on remixes with artists such as Ellen Alien, Laurent Garnier, DJ Koze, Isolée and Radiohead. In 2022, he was one the winners of the Swiss Music Prizes 2022 alonside superband Yello and performed with the classical meet electronic Tonhalle late project.
