Biography

Evangelist J.D.'s journey began in the gritty, often violent neighborhood of Maryvale, West Phoenix. Growing up amidst the challenges of poverty, crime, and substance abuse, he found himself entangled in a destructive lifestyle. However, a profound encounter with Jesus Christ would forever alter the trajectory of his life. A fateful night at a church on the South Side marked a turning point. While driving to the church, a song by Fred Hammond, titled "No Weapon," resonated deeply with him, ministering to his soul and laying the foundation for his transformation. The experience of worship and the powerful preaching of the church service. Eventually led J.D. to surrender his life to Jesus Christ. He was subsequently baptized in the name of Jesus, marking the beginning of a new chapter. Recognizing the need for further support, J.D. joined a Christian rehabilitation center called Strong Tower, where he served as an assistant house manager and Bible teacher. Evangelist J.D. is dedicated to using his platform to inspire and uplift others who may be facing similar situations. Evangelist J.D.'s passion for music led him to pursue a career as a Christian hip-hop artist. His songs, such as "Greater is He" is a collaboration with extraordinary producer Boudreaux of Grape Tree Records and "Deathbed," are powerful testimonies to the goodness of God. The latter song, in particular, shares the miraculous story of his mother's supernatural resurrection through prayer.
